Traslation and Interpretation
This has been my dream for ages but now I have doubts about it
I talked to my English about this and she told me that if I wanted this I had to choose between Barcelona or Madrid (see, decisions decisions) and at the time it sounded so good that I did some research about both of the universities that exact afternoon when I got home
I'm Portuguese, as I said before, and as you see I'm writing in English, and I made reference to Barcelona and Madrid because I'm living in Spain right now
That means I speak Portuguese, English and Spanish fluently
Most people would say "Girl, you speak 3 languages, Translation is your thing"
And I used to think like that
Plus I'm learning Latin which is really cool and helps a lot because Modern Languages are an evolution of Latin and I'm also learning Ancient Greek which is very cool
And I really want to learn Italian, German and maybe (I'm not sure about it) Chinese and Modern Greek
I mean, really, if I ever met someone who was in this situation I'd say "CHOOSE TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETATION FOR GOD'S SAKE"
But I'm not someone I can meet randomly
I'm me
I am the one that has to choose and my head is such a mess right now that I really don't know what choice to make
Oh, and I said I had time but there's this decision I have to make in the next two weeks that can affect this future decision
I have to choose between Ancient Greek and Geography
And I have to choose between French or Universal Literature
Anyone who's a little smart would say Ancient Greek and French
But (because there's always a but in life- Life's all about decisions and "buts") Geography counts 0.2 in my final exams and A. Greek only counts 0.1 (I don't know how to explain this to you) and Universal Literature sounds really interesting to me
And then there's French - which I've studied for 3 years (2 years ago)
God, I don't know what to do
Sharing it made me feel even more confused
Not good
I really have to think about this and consider the positive and the negative aspects of each one and then I'll know what to choose - I hope
