This is a very recent idea
There were some girls in my class talking about it and I decided to find out what was this all about
As soon as I saw it had USA History as one of the subjects I felt like this could also be the perfect thing to me
I mean, I'm an European girl with the American Dream most Europeans have (at least many people I know have this dream as well) and yeah, one day I'd love to move to America
I talked to my mom about this option and she said it was better than the other one right away
Wanna know why?
Because this can be studied in a university 1 hour away from my house
What mother wouldn't like to have her daughter always close? Not mine
I love my mom and she always said that I should follow my dreams
But when money is a problem things change
And in this case studying closer means spending less money
And I understand the situation, I do
I mean, I told I'm Portuguese and I told that I'm living in Spain
Why?
Because we had to move due to economic problems
So, money can actually make me choose Philology instead of Translation
I wish things weren't like this but right now there's nothing I can do to change it
I guess I'll have to consider some scholarship and stuff like that so that I can follow my dreams
Like I said before, I won't give up
And besides USA History there's also GB History and many other things related to the English language (You don't say?? I mean it is called English Philology, duh)
I really wish things could be easier
But maybe all of this happens for a reason
Maybe one day I'll look behind and think "It was hard to get here but it was totally worth it!"
